About

What, why and and for whom
From a young age, I was drawn to various artistic pursuits, whether it was playing musical instruments, singing, or drawing. These passions have been with me throughout my entire life, and I feel like the desire to express my true self was simply born within me, further amplified by life's unfolding events. My greatest motivation is to create works that draw the observer into the painting, allowing them to fully experience their emotions. In these fast-paced times, I increasingly perceive the importance of the connection between humans and nature, of understanding their natural laws. In a world full of technology and a focus on reason and performance, a major imbalance arises, along with a lack of ability to truly feel and express what we actually experience. Art helps us pause and merge with the moment, allowing us to perceive and release turbulent emotions that would otherwise have no outlet, leading to various physical pains. The aim of my paintings is to remind us of the gift of life and evoke feelings that reflect what truly holds deep value in life. When I paint, time stops for me, and nothing else exists in that moment but the emerging image in front of me. I believe that this pure state transfers into the paintings exactly what they are meant to evoke in people. Indeed, those who are touched by my paintings experience a sense of release through my motifs, especially if they struggle to find it in today's fast-paced world. They find themselves in a slowed-down time-space and can immerse themselves completely in it. I also paint commissions and am open to collaborations for book or music album covers and others, just send me a message for more info. I mainly use oil paints, but I also enjoy working with other mediums like watercolor or pastel. I came to painting as a self-taught artist, which allows me to incorporate my own unique style. I love studying the works of realistic painters from the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as those who draw inspiration from them.

What people say

When I was deciding who to ask to paint a picture as a gift, Pája was the clear choice. She didn't settle for just any photo for the reference; she gave clear instructions on how the reference should look (the lighting, color contrasts, background), and then transferred it onto paper with her artistry. The painting exceeded my expectations... Read More

The first painting by Pája that I saw captivated me with its detail and color accuracy. A few months later, I was thinking about a special gift, and it occurred to me to reach out to her. The painting I requested was exactly as I envisioned and, more importantly, met the expectations of my boyfriend, for whom the painting was made. Pája... Read More

Commission painting

People who come to me with a request for a painting have many things in common - they are beings with high sensitivity who care about the state of the environment, and who are aware of the importance of relationships between people and also among people, nature and animals.
